Nichols announce birth of baby
Brenda Rodriguez Nichols and Salvador Nichols, Jr., are proud to
announce the birth of their daughter, Maraiah Jiselle Nichols.
She was welcomed home by her brothers, Salvador III, Julian and
Moses.
Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Hector Rodriguez of Pecos.
Paternal grandparents are Mr. & Mrs. Salvador Nichols Sr. &
Yolanda Aragon.
Flores deployed to operation
Air Force Staff Sgt. Richard M. Flores has deployed overseas to a
forward operation location to support the mission of Operation Enduring
Freedom.
Enduring Freedom is the official name given to anti-terrorism
military operations involving U.S. troops and allied coalition
partners. Reserve component members from all branches of the U.S. Armed
Forces have been mobilized, activated and deployed along with active
duty members to support the war against global terrorism. Mission
objectives encompass combating the international terrorist network or
regime forces outside the borders of the United States. U.S. troops
serve in South Asia, the Arabian peninsula, islands in the Pacific, and
in numerous other countries.
Flores is a radio traffic operator with 11 years of military
service.
He is the son of Chavelo D. and Beva M. Flores of Pecos.
His wife, Monica, is the daughter of Gary Lee and Eva P. Travis of
Odessa.
The staff sergeant is a 1990 graduate of Pecos High School.
