Little League standings

Pecos Little League is wrapping up its season this week. With the Minor League (7-8 year-olds) the Longhorns took 1st place with 13 wins, and 0 losses. In second place are the Sooners with a record of 4 wins, and 9 losses. In last place are the Canes with a record of 3 wins, and 11 losses.
In the Major League “B” which consists of the 9-11 year-olds the Rockhounds are in 1st place with 11 wins, 2 losses, and 1 tie. The 2nd place team is the Cyclones with 8 wins, 5 losses, and 2 ties. The 3rd place team is the Sandgnats with 4 wins, 7 losses, and 2 ties.
In 4th place are the Bulls with a record of 3 wins, 12 losses, and 1 tie.
The Major League “A” (which consists of the 11-12 year-olds) the Orioles lead with 19 wins, 0 losses, and 1 tie. In 2nd place are the Cardinals with 14 wins, 4 losses, and 2 ties. Third places is held by the Yankees with 9 wins, 10 losses, and 1 tie. The 4th place team is the Braves with 3 wins, 16 losses, and 1 ties. The last place team is Cubs with a record of 2 wins, 17 losses, and 1 tie. Standings will not be final until Saturday morning, at which time the All-Star Team selections will be announced.
