Strother enjoys Pecos gab page

Jim Strother had taught and coached in Christian schools
across Texas since leaving Pecos in 1976, and is now
coaching at Leander, near Round Rock.

He graduated from Pecos High School in 1967, attended Baylor
University, then taught math and athletics at his alma
mater. He and his wife, Julie, have lived in Nacogdoches,
Houston, Austin and now Round Rock.

Both their children are in Houston. Jenni, 24, is working
for Grassroots, a Christian music distributor. Jody, 20,
attends the University of Houston.

"I have spent several years in Christian schools, with
responsibilities ranging from coaching and teaching to top
administration," Strother said. "In July, I resigned Great
Hills Chrsitan School in Austin and am now coaching and
teaching in Leander.

Signing onto the "Pecos Gab" web site provided for exes to
keep in touch with their hometown and with each other,
Strother said he "had a great time" at his 30th anniversary
class reunion.

"This page gives us all a chance to keep up with Pecos
news," he said.

Strother's address is 3206 Freemont, Round Rock TX
