Soto selected as officer of the month

Julie Soto has been selected as Correctional Officer of the Month at the Reeves County Detention Center II for the month of October.

Soto is a 2000 graduate of Buena Vista High School.

Officer Soto began her employment with Reeves County Detention Center on Dec. 2, 2002.

"Officer Soto maintains high standards in her work ethics," said RCDC Warden Rudy Franco. "Her dedication and professionalism to the operation of the Reeves County Detention Center has been outstanding," he said.

Soto has worked all pertinent posts related to custody and willingly accepts additional responsibilities, according to Franco.

"She accomplishes all assigned tasks in minimal time, with exceptional results," said Franco.

As a Correctional Officer, Soto's primary responsibility is to maintain security and control of the institution.

"Officer Soto has continuously maintained this responsibility in the highest respect and has always taken pride in her position with the Reeves County Detention Center," said Franco.

Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize Officer Soto as Correctional Officer of the Month.

"Her high standards, quality of work performance, and self-motivation have earned her this honor," said Franco. "It is a pleasure to be associated with an individual such as Officer Soto," he said.

"We wish her continued success in her career with the Reeves County Detention Center," said Franco.
