Twins are winners of Pretty Baby Contest

Twins were winners of the Pretty Baby Contest held during the Annual Reeves County Fall Fair and sponsored by the Women's Division of the Pecos Area Chamber of Commerce.

Jeremiah and Zachariah Hung, the sons of Leo and Minnie Hung took top honors in the contest. The two received a $100 Savings Bond, from Security State Bank/Gift Certificate compliments of Alfredo's Restaurant. The twins are 18 months old.

Chassidy Jurado, eight months old and the daughter of Hector Jurado and Julie Contreras placed second. She received a $50 Savings Bond, compliments of Alfredo's Restaurant.

Third place winner was Anna Bella Pachlhofer, 12 months and the daughter of Aaron and Mandy Pachlhofer. She received a $25 Gift Certificate from Beall's and $5 Gift Certificate from Wal-Mart.

Isia Nathaniel Gutierrez, nine months old and the son of Roger Gutierrez and Crystal Nunez, placed fourth. He received a $25 Gift Certificate from Wal-Mart.

Phillip Lujan took fifth place. He is the son of Sam and Diana Lujan and is 18 months old. He received a $20 Gift Certificate from Wal-Mart.

Sixth place was Monique Marie Dominguez, nine months old and the daughter of Mario and Angie Dominguez. She received a $15 Gift Certificate from Dollar General.

Allyssa L. Abila, 15 months old and the daughter of Johnny Abila and Melanie Meierhoff, placed seventh. She received a $10 Gift Certificate from Wal-Mart.

The funds raised will go towards the Women's Division to sponsor their many events, including the Little Miss Cantaloupe/Golden Girl Pageant held each year during the West of the Pecos Rodeo events.

The group also sponsors the Fireman's/EMT Appreciation dinner, the Mother Goose and Friends Parade and the Christmas Lighting Contest held each year.
