Herrera chosen for All-Star team
Kevin Herrera, the son of Javier Herrera and Adela Herrera of Pecos, was
recently invited to play with the 11-12 year olds All Stars in McCamey for
the second consecutive year.
He threw three people out of first with two game saving wins.
They played against the Midland Scorpions, Ft. Stockton Indians, Ft.
Stockton Rockies and Crane. In this tournament they lost two games out of
five.
Herrera played second base, third base and short stop.
He played an outstanding game.
Herrera hit a home run and brought in two other teammates. They won the
game.
