Pena, Knox exchange wedding vows at San Antonio
Christa Ann Pena and Christopher Lynn Knox were united in marriage at
noon on May 10. The double-ring ceremony was held outdoors at the San Antonio
Riverwalk Marriage Island. J.P. Zaragosa of San Antonio officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Joyce and Jerry Cagle of Odessa and Roger
Pena of Amarillo. She is the granddaughter of Johnny Wilma Jordan of Pecos
and Luis and Emma Pena of Barstow.
The groom is the son of Roy and Kathy Knox of Odessa. He is the grandson
of Wynona Glover and Dutch and Nell Knox, all of Brownfield.
The bride, who is in the U.S. Air Force, was given in marriage by Roger
Pena and Jerry Cagle. She wore her Service Dress Uniform.
The maid of honor was Tara Jones of Odessa. She wore a white sundress.
The bride and maid of honor carried heart-shaped bouquets made from red
roses, white baby's breath and blue carnations.
The groom wore blue slacks, a white dress shirt and a patriotic-themed
necktie.
Robb Knox of Odessa served as his brother's best man. He wore blue slacks,
a white dress shirt and a blue necktie. Caleb and Haley Jordan of Odessa
were ring bearer and flower girl. Both are the bride's cousins.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at Landry's Seafood on the
riverwalk.
The newlyweds are making their home in San Angelo, where the bride is
stationed for technical school.
Dominguez' plan to renew wedding vows
Norma Dominguez and Nicasio Dominguez Sr. will be renewing their wedding
vows at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 28, at St. James Baptist Church in Pecos
with Rev. Joe L. Terry II officiating.
The bride to be is the daughter of Ben and Patricia Mosely. She is currently
a nurses aide at the Reeves County Hospital.
The groom is the son of Justo and Maria Dominguez and a laborer currently
employed with Pecos Cantaloupe. Both attended Pecos High School.
