Williams selected employee of month

Frank Williams Jr. has been selected Employee of the Month for May at the Reeves County Detention Center.

Williams is a Cook Foreman III in the Food Service Department.

He is the son of Frank and Lillian Williams of Pecos and has two brothers, Lawrence "Bubba" Williams of Pecos and Kenneth Williams of San Antonio and one sister, Janice Williams of San Antonio.

Williams is married to Willie Mae Williams,and the couple have two children, Thurman and Tracy.

His hobbies include watching sports on TV and enjoys fast cars and attending drag races. His favorite past time, however, is enjoying quality time with family and friends.

Williams began his career with the Reeves County Detention Center on January 12.

He was promoted to his current position as a Cook Foreman III in 1997. He is a veteran officer who has proven himself to be both extremely reliable and professional.

"He has become a tremendous asset to the Reeves County Detention Center," said RCDC Warden Rudy Franco. "Mr. Williams has a strong correctional and food service background and provides new ideas," he said.

"His work ethics and attitude are of the highest level and he is a prime example of the officers' employed at the Reeves County Detention Center," said Franco.

Williams is dedicated to the operation of the Food Service Department at the Reeves County Detention Center and accepts additional responsibilities and accomplishes all assigned tasks successfully, with the utmost professionalism, according to Franco.

As a Cook Foreman, Williams' primary responsibilities are to maintain security and control in the Food Service Department, making sure the inmates are performing their daily work detail in a safe manner.

"Officer Williams has continuously executed his responsibilities in the highest professional manner and has always taken pride as an officer of the Reeves County Detention Center," said Franco.

The Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize Frank Williams as Employee of the Month.

"His high standards, quality of work performance, and self-motivator have earned him this honor," said Franco. "We wish him continued success in his career with the Reeves County Detention Center.
