Zermeno selected as Officer of Month

The Reeves County Detention Center is proud to announce that Oliver Zermeno has been selected as Correctional Officer of the Month at the Reeves County Detention Center for September 2003.

Zermeno is a graduate of Pecos High School and enjoys spending time with his family and also spending time on his computer.

Officer Zermeno began his employment with the Reeves County Detention Center in July 2002.

Zermeno holds the position of Correctional Officer and is currently assigned as Activity Officer.

"Officer Zermeno maintains high standards in his work ethics, and his dedication to the Reeves County Detention Center is outstanding," said RCDC Warden Rudy Franco. "He has worked all pertinent posts, and willingly accepts additional responsibilities," he said.

"He accomplishes all assigned tasks in minimal time with exceptional results," said Franco.

As a Correctional Officer, Zermeno's primary responsibility is to maintain security and control of the inmates as well as assist the lieutenants.

Zermeno has continuously executed this responsibility exceedingly well, and has always taken pride in his position, according to Franco.

"His understanding of all posts pertaining to custody has been a tremendous asset in the training of new staff members," said Franco.

The Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize Officer Zermeno as Correctional Officer of the Month.

"His high standards, quality of work performance, and self-motivation have earned him this honor," said Franco. "It is a pleasure to be associated with an individual such as Mr. Zermeno who exhibits such professionalism," he said.

"We wish him continued success in his career with the Reeves County Detention Center," said Franco.
