Hello Pecos! My name is Edmundo Corrales and as everyone can see, a Bicentennial graduate of Pecos High. Three months after finishing school, I joined the Navy and Lo and Behold, decided to stay in for 20 years. After lots of traveling, I retired in Oak Harbor, Wa. and am presently a full time student majoring in Education.

I live about a 2 hours drive north of Seattle on Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound. I have visited Pecos many times in the past, and continue to see lots of friends still living there. It would be nice to hear from anyone else out there in cyberland who still has a spot in their hearts for Pecos.

This site was long overdue. I Love it! For all residents of this West Texas town, keep working at making Pecos grow to what it once was. Adios for now, I'll be on the look out for mail from Pecos exes.

Well, this is interesting. I guess the nostalgia bug has bitten us all. Joy, I was just thinking about you about 2 weeks ago and wondering if you were still in San Antonio. Hi to everyone else reading this that I might know.

As you already know, Joy, but for those who don't, I married Larry Fleming. He and I were both from the class of '66. We have lived in Andrews, Tx for 10 years, and have 2 dtrs, 24 & 21. Will spare you all the details, but things are great with us.

Larry is Director of Public Works for the City of Andrews, and I co-own my own business assisting non-insured hospital patients with methods to pay their bills. I have done this for 8 1/2 years.

I also have fond memories of my time in Pecos, and would love to hear from other class mates. I located Jim Strother on the inet maybe 2 - 3 weeks ago. I will email him this site so he can join in for himself.

Anybody know where Dennis Davis is? Or Joe McCormick? I played with them in a little "folk music" group back when. Maybe we'll have a reunion tour.

We have our own little reunion group here in Andrews as Joe & Joyce (Woods) Merrill live here as well as Jamie (Toone) Dillingham.

I'm looking forward to hearing from others, and thanks again for this opportunity to chat with old friends.

Wow!! I've had fun coming here and reading about everyone! It was GREAT to find Kathryn again! Life goes on after Pecos but it is nice to visit relatives there and hear from old friends. This site is a neat idea (congrats to whoever came up with it) and I enjoy reading bits of Pecos news. The Class of '74 is the greatest (even if some of us bailed early)!!!

Life on the Katy Prairie, west of Houston, is great. Working with my Dad, trying to get my daughter graduated from HS and off to college, and missing my Navy sailor son keeps me busy. What's a few years here and there????!!!

Hi, Y'all:

Mom just sent me the info on this site, and it's great to be in touch!

Hi, Kathryn! So far you're the only classmate (1974) whose message I've seen here, but I'm new to this. In the past 25 years (yikes!) I've covered a lot of ground, but I've been settled in Nashville now for a while. I met my husband Tom shortly after I moved here, and we've been married 10 years.

I work for an investment firm and stay busy with Tom and our two dogs.

My sister, Sally (class of '71), and her family have just moved to Corpus.

My brother, Ben (class of '76) is married and is an attorney in Oklahoma City. Classmates from '74 that I've heard from lately include Kimberly Ashley in Galveston, Mary Margaret Moore Palms in Denver, and Melinda Ramsey Ward in Stephenville. I recently also wrote to Mr. Carrico in San Angelo and sort of caught up on what he's been up to.

The 20th anniversary class reunion for the class of '74 was great. I recommend getting to Pecos for your class reunion. Lots of laughs and unexpected developments! This page might get to be like that, too. What a great idea!
