It is displayed
as if it were in service
out on the range,
with a campfire laid out and cooking utensils suspended over it, surrounded by desert plants and rocks. The floor is covered with small rocks. A skylight and large picture windows on the north and east sides of the building provide abundant natural light. Visitors can view the display from the sidewalk.
