Molinar, Rodriguez announce wedding plans
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Mendoza announce the engagement and approaching marriage
of their daughter, Rocio Urias Molinar to Andrew Michael Rodriguez, son
of Oscar and Stella Rodriguez.
The bride to be is a 1996 Pecos High School graduate. She is currently
employed by UT Permian Basin. She also plans to graduate from UTPB with
a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in Sociology, Psychology minor in May 2000.
The future groom is a 1995 Pecos High School graduate. He is currently
employed by Permian Truck and Equipment.
The couple plan to wed on Jan.8, 2000, at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic
Church.
They will make their home in Odessa.
Acosta celebrates second birthday
Jaylen Izaiah Acosta celebrated his second birthday recently with a party
held in his honor.
Theme for the event was "Blues Clues."
He received many toys he liked, but his favorite was a tricycle given
to him by his parents, David and Michelle Acosta.
Paternal grandparents are David and Ester Acosta of Pecos.
Maternal grandparents are Joe and Petra Alvarado, also of Pecos.
OC offers spring courses
During the 2000 spring semester Odessa College is offering 26 classes in
Pecos, an increase of 18 offerings over last semester, and 20 classes in
Pyote.
Registration for classes in Pecos will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m., Monday,
Jan. 10, at Pecos High School.
Registration for classes in Pyote will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday,
Jan. 6, at the Odessa College Regional Extension Center at Pyote.
