| Daily Newspaper and Travel Guide for Pecos Country of West Texas Lifestyle Monday, December 6, 1999 Scholastic Book Fair planned A Scholastic Book Fair will be held beginning Monday, Dec. 6 until Friday, Dec. 10, at Austin Elementary School. The book fair will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. Parent's night will be held this evening beginning at 7 p.m., along with a special Christmas program. Workman inducted into honor society The University of North Texas held its annual induction ceremony for the Golden Key National Honor Society, on Nov. 7, in the Murchison Performing Arts Center on the Denton campus. Lindley Renee Workman, of Pecos, was inducted at that time. Golden Key National Honor Society recognizes outstanding juniors and seniors in all fields of study with a cumulative grade point average of 3.4 and higher.
