Braggs celebrated 50th  anniversary

Dudley and Bobby Bragg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception on Aug. 7, at the Parkhills Baptist Church in San Antonio.

Hosts for the event were their children and grandchildren, Robert and Kathi Bragg, Craig and Lynn Carter, Todd and Suzanne Bragg, Val and Juel Bragg, and foster son, Dan and Carole Rouse.

Mr. and Mrs. Bragg have 13 grandchildren ranging in age from 19 years of age to 10 months old.

The Braggs were married Aug. 14, 1949, in the home of Loyd and May Wall, Bobby's parents, in Chillicothe, Tx. They were married on the 23rd wedding anniversary of her parents.

Dudley is retired from the pastorate after 42 years as a Southern Baptist Pastor. Dudley pastored in Pecos at First Baptist Church from July 1979 to October 1986.

Bobby is in her 30th year of teaching, and Dudley is now teaching part time.

The Braggs now make their home in San Antonio, across the street from their daughter and three of their grandchildren.
