Ballard named officer of month
Officer Alan Ballard has been selected as Correctional
Officer of the Month for February at the Reeves County
Detention Center.
Ballard has been employed at the Reeves County Detention
Center since Oct. 28, 1996. He is married to Jessie Ballard
and is the proud father of four children.
Ballard's attitude is very professional when training new
Correctional Staff, in this regard, he continuously shares
his knowledge and expertise, according to RCDC Warden Rudy
Franco.
"I have received a number of complementary comments
regarding Alan's activities in this area," said Franco. "He
exhibits excellent communication skills in dealing with
staff and inmates," he said.
Ballard's performance during this rating period has been
exceptional in all areas. "He is an employee who is
dedicated, dependable and can perform any assignment with
the highest level of competence," said Franco.
"I commend Mr. Ballard for his devotion to duty and wish him
continued success in his career with the Reeves County
Detention Center," said Franco.
