Gonzales, Castillo plan wedding
Rudy and Becky Gonzales, of Pecos, announce the engagement
and approaching marriage of their daughter, Traci Dawn
Gonzales to Victor Casillo, Jr. of Midland.
The future groom is the son of Victor and Francisca
Castillo, Sr. of Midkiff. He is a 1996 graduate of Rankin
High School and is currently attending Midland College and
employed with the City of Midland.
The bride to be is a 1995 graduate of Pecos High School,
attended Texas Tech University and is currently enrolled at
Midland College pursuing a degree in nursing. She is
employed with Wurster, Amstrong and Williamson, CPA.
The couple plan to wed at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, at St.
Catherine's Catholic Church with Father Rick Zamorano
officiating at the double ring ceremony.
Area students make Dean's List
Five Pecos area students attending Angelo State University
in San Angelo, are listed on the Dean's List for the Fall
semester at the University.
Those listed include Penny Anne Armstrong, a Pre-pharmacy
major; Christopher R. Daniel, a Computer Science major;
Jonnie Renae Denton, a Communication major; Megan A.
Freeman, a Pre-pharmacy major; and Veronica D. Munoz, a
Pre-veterinary major all from Pecos.
To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must be
enrolled as a full-time student and have at least a 3.25
grade point average.
