Renteria named award winner

The United States Achievement Academy announced that Ysidro
Renteria, Jr. of Pecos, has been recognized for academic
achievement as a United States National Honor Roll Award
winner.

Renteria who attends Zavala Middle School will appear in the
United States Achievement Academy Official Yearbook, which
is published nationally.

"Recognizing and supporting our youth is more important than
ever before in America's history. Certainly, United States
Achievement Academy winners should be congratulated and
appreciated for their dedication to excellence and
achievement," said Dr. George Stevens, Executive Director of
the United States Achievement Academy.

The USAA National Honor Roll Awards provide honor roll
students with many benefits and services and is a great
tribute to a student's dedication, talent, and ability.

Renteria is the son of Ysidro and Diamantina Renteria of
