Flores celebrates sixth birthday
Clarissa Nicole Flores celebrated her sixth birthday on Sunday, March
30, at her house.
Theme for the special event was "Scooby-Do."
She received many gifts, but her favorite was a small computer given to
her by her uncle Jon.
Guests were served hot dogs, chips, dips, asado and drinks. The children
also enjoyed playing in the Jumping Balloon, courtesy of her uncle Joe Ray
Flores.
Clari's older brother, Anthony and her sister, Christina were on hand
to help her celebrate the special occasion.
She is the daughter of Rosie and Freddy Flores of Pecos.
Grandparents were the late Nacho and Eufemia Flores.
Alzheimer's group plans meeting
Alzheimer's Association Star Chapter will be hosting a Pecos Support
Group meeting at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 8, at the Pecos Senior Citizen's
Center, 119 S. Cedar.
This group meets the second Thursday every month.
Topic for the meeting is: "Depression."
