Juarez visits Pecos family
Benito Juarez, of Pecos, enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. and
was sent to San Diego, Calif., where he attended Boot Camp and became a
private.
Juarez left Pecos on Dec. 16, 2002 and graduated from Boot Camp on March
14, 2003.
He is a 2001 graduate of Pecos High School and the son of Maria Juarez
and the late Ramon Juarez and has one brother, Jerry Juarez.
Pvt. Juarez will be returning to San Diego on April 8, for more training
and if needed will be deployed to the war zone.
The Juarez family asks for the community's prayers and thoughts to bring
him home safe and without harm.
District Clerks to hold meeting in Pecos
Reeves County District Clerk and the Reeves County Clerk's offices will
be hosting the Area 3 County and District Clerks Association spring meeting
this Friday.
The meeting will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., at the Reeves County
Civic Center.
Both the district clerk and the county clerk's offices will be closed
on Friday, due to the area meeting.
Both offices will re-open at their regular times on Monday.
