Study club plans meeting

The Modern Study Club will meet at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, in the home of Martha Jay,523 S. Oleander, for a Texas Heritage Department with Juracy Ray, department chairman, in charge.

The thought-quote for the program is "Texas is still a last frontier. It's the part of the United States where the traditional virtues are still operating. In short a piece of living history." _ J.C.B. Richmond.

Mrs. Ray, who will be the presenter, chose as the title for her program, "Texas, Is it Worth Bragging About?"

Roll call will be answered by naming one's favorite historical place and a famous Texan.

Project for the bi-monthly meeting is participation in CIP (Community Improvement Program).

Martha Jay will join Mrs. Morton with hostess duties for the meeting.
