Garcia makes Dean's List at St. Mary's
Celeste Montoya Garcia, has made the Dean's List for the Fall 2002 Semester
at St. Mary's University in San Antonio.
She achieved this honor by maintaining a 4.0 grade point average (GPA).
She is the God-daughter of Ninfa Montoya Alligood and Daniel Carrasco
Hernandez of Pecos.
Garcia is the daughter of Delia Montoya of Odessa.
The University will pay tribute to the students on the Dean's List for
Fall 2002 Semester at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 2, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church
in San Antonio.
Coker, Moore exchange wedding vows
Cara Coker and Russell Moore were married on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the
First Baptist Church in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
Cara is the daughter of Eileen and Larry Coker of Clovis, N.M. Russell
is the son of James Moore of Albuquerque, N.M. and Nan and Alan Zeman of
Pecos.
After a honeymoon in Florida the couple will reside in Albuquerque. Cara
is crime victim's advocate with the State of New Mexico and Russell is a
six year veteran of the Albuquerque Police Department.
