Hurst, Salinas announce summer wedding plans
Mindi Hurst and Rudy G. Salinas, both of Dallas, are proud to announce their
engagement.
The bride to be is a 1998 graduate of Stigler High School in Stigler,
Okla and a 2000 graduate of Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton,
Okla., with an associate degree in journalism. She is presently attending
the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and will graduate
in May 2003 with a bachelor of science degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
The future groom is a 1994 graduate of Pecos High School and attended
Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is presently a recruiter
for the United States Marine Corps in Plano and attends Collin County Community
College in Plano. He plans to pursue a career in law enforcement after completing
his enlistment with the USMC.
Hurst is the daughter of Mickey and Kellie Hurst of Stigler, Okla. She
is the granddaughter of Windell and Margaret Bellows and Claudy Hurst and
the late Vera Hurst, all of Stigler, Okla.
Salinas is the son of Juan and Florinda Salinas of Barstow. He is the
grandson of the late Manuel Salinas and Santos Abila and Rodolfo Gonzales
and the late Ysidra Gonzales, all of Barstow.
The couple are planning a Summer 2003 wedding.
