Bradleys win first, third flights at Lions' tourney
The team of Donnie and Drake Bradley used an opening round 61 to capture
first place over the weekend at the Pecos Lions' Club Adult-Youth Golf Tournament,
held at the Reeves County Golf Course.
The event was divided into three flights with 33 teams made up of one
adult and one youth golfer. At least one shot per hole has to come from the
boy or girl golfer on the team.
The Bradleys shot a 61-65-126 to win the tournament's First Flight by
three strokes over Ken Winkles and Michael Nichols, who shot a 65-64-129.

In the Second Flight, the winners were Mike and Nicholas Harrison. They
shot a 69-70-139 to win by two strokes over Becky and Trey Perkins, while
Jerry Patterson and Jack Stickles won a playoff for third place, shooting
a 70-73-143 for the 36-hole tournament.
In the Third Flight another set of Bradleys won the top spot. Donna and
David Bradley captured first place with a 75-71-146 score. Jimmy and Richard
Dutchover won second place in the playoff over Tim and Tatum Windham, after
both teams finished tied with 150 scores. The Dutchovers shot 75s both days
and the Windhams shot a 76 on Saturday and a 75 on Sunday.
