Golden Girl Nominee
Erica Franco
Erica Danielle Franco is the 16-year-old daughter of Norma Ybarra of Odessa
and Alfred and Mary Anne Gomez of Pecos.
She is being sponsored by Alfredo's Mexican Restaurant.
Miss Franco is Junior at Pecos High School and is active in sports including,
volleyball, basketball and softball.
Her hobbies include singing, dancing, acting and modeling.
"I enjoy playing music such as the guitar, piano, flute, cornet and clarinet,"
said Franco.
At a young age, Miss Franco participated in many dance and theatrical
productions.
She enjoys choreographing and showing her creative side as much as possible.
Miss Franco plans to attend college at St. Edward's University following
high school graduation and plans to transfer to the University of Texas in
Austin to major in theater arts.
"I'm also very determined to achieve my goals in the future to become
successful and to travel around the world doing what I love the most," said
Miss Franco. "Last and foremost, I enjoy eating at Whataburger," she said.
