Natividad ends apprentice course
Air Force Airman Rebecca A. Natividad has graduated from the traffic management
apprentice course at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.
The student received training in planning, arranging, and procuring
air, rail, motor carrier, and bus transportation service for military and
civilian members and their dependents via military and commercial carriers;
including shipping and storing of personal property, house trailers, and
privately owned vehicles. The course included training in operating material
handling equipment, receiving inbound shipments, packing and crating procedures
of household goods, computer systems operations, data automation, security
and safety.
Natividad is the daughter of Robert and Bertha Natividad of Pecos.
The airman is a 2001 graduate of Pecos High School.
Easter Sunday services scheduled
The Barstow Baptist Church is hosting Easter Sunrise Services this Sunday
in Barstow.
The service will be held across from the Barstow Cemetery on the hill
north of town on FM 516 with J.R. Wooten leading the service.
There will be refreshments served after the service.
