Lozano named Officer of Month

Fred Lozano has been named Correctional Officer of the Month at the Reeves County Detention Center I for February.

Lozano is a 1982 graduate of Balmorhea High School.

He is also the proud father of two children, Teg and Harlee and married to Shonah Lozano, who is employed with RCDC and works in the infirmary.

Officer Lozano's hobbies include spending time with his family, roping, and spending time outdoors.

Lozano began his employment with the Reeves County Detention Center on May 9, 2000. He currently holds the rank of Correctional Officer II.

"Mr. Lozano is an officer who has gained the respect of fellow employees with his professionalism and high standards," said Reeves County Detention Center Warden Rudy Franco. "He responds to any assignment and delivers exceptional results," he said.

Lozano's attitude, self-motivation and the ability to train and mentor the new staff has earned him this honor, according to Franco.

"Mr. Lozano is a prime example of the type of staff that is employed by the Reeves County Detention Center," said Franco. "He has stepped forward and can be relied upon by supervisors to assist in any way possible," he said.

The Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize Lozano as Correctional Officer of the Month.

"It is an honor to have an officer of this caliber working for this organization with outstanding ethics, professionalism, and high working standards," said Franco. "We wish Mr. Lozano continued success in his career with the Reeves County Detention Center," he said.
