Rodriguez brothers serve as missionaries
Leroy Osorio Rodriguez and Eliazar Osorio Rodriguez are currently serving
as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Both are 2001 graduates of Pecos High School.
Leroy and Eliazar are the sons of Miguel and Katy Barrera of Pecos.
Eliazar is serving in the San Diego, California Mission in San Diego,
California. He began his mission on Nov. 28, 2001, when he entered the Missionary
Training Center in Provo, Utah. He spent three weeks there before being transferred
to San Diego, Calif.
Leroy is serving in the Calgary, Alberta Canada Mission in Calgary, Alberta.
He began his mission on Dec. 5, 2001, when he entered the Missionary Training
Center in Provo, Utah. He spent three weeks there before being transferred
to Calgary, Alberta in Canada.
Both young men will serve for two years before returning home in 2003.
The missionaries are supported by their parents and local members of The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Brisket Plate sale scheduled
A Brisket Plate Sale will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., Saturday,
Feb. 16, at Saragosa Hall.
Plates will be $4.50 and to order call 445-5225 on Saturday.
Call-ins and walk-ins are all welcome and deliveries will be made on four
plates or more.
All proceeds will benefit Teodoro Fuentes.
