Ramos selected employee of month
Pete Ramos, Sr. was selected as Employee of the Month for the month of
December 2001 at the Reeves County Detention Center.
Ramos has been employed at the Reeves County Detention Center for two
years.
He is married and the proud father of three children, one of whom is employed
at RCDC as well.
Ramos is a native of Pecos and graduated from Pecos High School in 1979.
He was employed at Pennzoil until the company shut down and then embarked
in a different career and attended Odessa College, where he received a degree
as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
Ramos is currently employed as an LVN in the Health Services Department
at the facility.
"He takes great pride in his work and is a valued employee," said RCDC
Warden Rudy Franco. "He maintains high standards and is a very motivated
person," he said.
Ramos is a great asset to the RCDC Health Services Department, according
to Franco.
The Reeves County Detention Center is proud to recognize LVN Pete Ramos
as Employee of the Month.
"It is a pleasure to be associated with an individual such as Mr. Ramos,
who exhibits extraordinary professionalism," said Franco. "We are extremely
pleased that he decided to work at RCDC after receiving his LVN license,"
he said.
"We wish him continued success in his career with the Reeves County
Detention Center," said Franco.
