Carrasco deployed to Egypt for training
Lt. David Carrasco, a former Pecos resident, is currently deployed on a
previously scheduled training exercise called Operation Bright Star in
Egypt.
Carrasco has enjoyed a career in the Army since 1991. He was commissioned
as a Lieutenant after recently graduating from class 2000-2001 Officer
Candidate School.
He successfully completed officer basic course in August of 2001. He
is a Quartermaster branch officer and his training emphasis has been as
a logistician with areas of expertise in petroleum and substinance.
Carrasco holds a Bachelor degree in Management with a special emphasis
in Human Resources from Virginia State University.
He was also decorated for his participation in Operation Joint Endeavor
and his duty stations include Fort Hood, Giebelstadt Germany and Fort Lee,
Va.

His wife, Vivian H. Carrasco and children Joshua and Jacob are presently
living in Richmond, Virginia.
His parents are Pablo T. Carrasco and step-mother Angelita M. Carrasco;
Maria V. Navarrette, mother and step-father is Robert Navarrette.
