A Pooh-party will be held in his honor, given by his proud grandparents Oscar and Lillian Archuleta.   Study club plans trip The Modern Study Club will meet at 8 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, for a Conservation Department program with Etta Sullivan, Department Chairman in charge. The group will car pool at the parking lot of the First Baptist Church and then journey to Carlsbad, N.M., where they will tour the Living Desert State Park with a guide of the park conducting. A dutch-treat luncheon will follow at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Carlsbad. The thought-quote for the meeting is _ "As soils are depleted, human health, vitality and intelligence go with them." _ Louis Bromfield. Roll call will be answered by giving the name of a native animal you saw in the zoological exhibits. Lena Harpham, Federation Counselor, will give a report during the business session conducted by President Travland. Project emphasis for this bi-monthly meeting is maintenance of the West of the Pecos Museum Bridal Suite and other contributions to the West of the Pecos Museum.
