Ornelas celebrates second birthday
Isaiah Tyler Ornelas celebrated his second birthday recently with a party
held in his honor at Maxey Park.
Blue's Clues was the theme for the special event and his favorite gift
was a tricycle.
Isaiah is the son of Yvette Barreno and Justin Ornelas.
Maternal grandparents are Ricky and Angie Barreno.
Paternal grandmother is Yogi Ornelas.
Great-grandparents are Alicia Barreno, Julia and Fred Contreras and Elisa
and the late Jesse G. Ornelas.
Study club plans meeting
The Modern Study Club will begin their new club year with a presentation
of their yearbooks 2001-2002 by President Catherine Travland who will also
give an overview of the book, "Looking at Our Upcoming Year."
Slated on Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m., the gathering will be held in the parlor
of the First Christian Church. Joyce Morton and Catherine Travland will share
hostess duties.

KJV.
The film, "Changing Lives _ Canine Companions for Independence," will
be viewed.
Roll call will be answered by giving the name of a prospective member.
Project in focus for this bi-monthly meeting is that all members participate
in a club program this year.
