Vacation Bible School planned
First Baptist Church, 4th and Hickory, will be having Vacation
Bible School from 6:30-9 p.m., Monday through Friday, from June 11-15.
Bible school is for children who have completed kindergarten through 6
th grade.
Pecos students make Dean's List
Two Pecos students attending San Angelo State University in San Angelo,
are listed on the Dean's List for the 2001 Spring Semester at ASU.
Those listed include Sarah L. Armstrong, an Accounting major, and Elizabeth
Prieot Matta, an English major, both from Pecos.
To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled as a full
time student and have at least a 3.25 grade point average.
OC sponsors summer program
This summer Odessa College will host OC Experience, a combined registration
and orientation program for new students. Sessions for June are 2 p.m., Thursday,
June 14 and 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 26.
OC Experience provides students entering Odessa College a head start on
their college careers by offering campus tours, academic counseling financial
aid information, and other assistance, plus the opportunity to register early
for summer and fall classes.
Students must register in advance for OC Experience. Deadlines are Monday,
June 11, for the June 14 session and Thursday, June 21, for the June 26 date.
Additional sessions scheduled for July and August are listed in the OC
Spring Bulletin of Credit Classes.
