Hale, Workman announce

wedding plans in Ivanhoe

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Hale announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Ann to Jerry Workman, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Workman Sr. of Pecos.

The couple plans to wed June 23, at the Ivanhoe Baptist Church in Ivanhoe, Tx.

The bride to be is a 1999 graduate of Sam Rayburn High School and attended Texas A&M at Commerce and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla.

The future groom is a 1995 graduate of Pecos High School and holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Agricultural Broadfield from Texas A&M at Commerce. He is employed by General Cable in Bonham.

The couple plans to make their home in Bonham.

Gordita plate sale set

A Gordita plate sale will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., on Friday, May 18, at Santa Rosa Hall.

Plates will consist of two gorditas, rice and beans for $3.50 a plate and can contain green chile with meat or meat and potatoes. Single gorditas will be sold for $1.50.

For orders call 445-2302 and the event is sponsored by the Guadalupanas.
