Vela, Santiesteban plan March wedding in Pecos
PECOS, March 23, 2001 - Mr. and Mrs. Santiesteban and Vela family announce
the upcoming wedding of their children, Sarah Vela and Eloy Santiesteban.
The couple plan to wed at 1 p.m., on Saturday, March 31, at the New
Life Baptist Church, located at 301 W. 3rd Street.
Rodriguez ends special training
PECOS, March 23, 2001 - Army Pvt. Pablo G. Rodriguez has graduated from
the unit supply specialist advanced individual training course at Fort
Lee, Petersburg, Va.
The student was trained in receipt, storage, issue and accountability
of individual, organization and installation supplies and equipment, and
included training in maintenance of small arms.
Rodriguez is the son of Yolanda J. Rodriguez of Pecos and Pablo Rodriguez,
also of Pecos.
He is a 2000 graduate of Pecos High School.
1971 Reunion
PECOS, March 23, 2001 - The class of 1971 is planning a 30-year reunion
this summer and classmates are still being sought.
Tentative date for the reunion has been set for June 29 and 30 and July
1.
