Weekend College planned at OC
PECOS, March 8, 2001 - For students who are interested in Odessa College's
Introduction to Computer Systems class but have weekday scheduling conflicts,
session C of OC's Weekend College may be the answer.
Registration for the session C class will be 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday,
March 19-22, and 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday, March 23.
Classes begin Saturday, March 24.
Weekend College courses parallel those offered in the regular term except
they are compressed into a shorter time span. OC gives these classes full
academic recognition, and both the time spent and the credit earned are
equivalent to that of a regular session.
To speed up the registration process, new students should submit an
application for admission prior to registration. Applications are available
in the OC catalog and from the OC Admissions Office and Web site.
OC offers students the opportunity to pay tuition in three installments
with one-half due on the day of registration, or students may pay with
a short-term loan, which requires a 10 percent down payment.
All transfer students must furnish an official transcript and TASP scores.
Proof of Texas residency for 12 consecutive months prior to enrollment
is required at registration to qualify for Texas resident tuition rates.
For more information, call the Odessa College Admissions Office at 335-6432
or visit the OC Web page at www.odessa.edu.
