OC sets registration for Spring

Students still may register for a full load of spring semester classes during late registration at Odessa College. Also during late registration, students still may sign up for Weekend College, Internet, interactive video and extension classes.

Late registration will be in the Registrar's Office on the second floor of the Student Union Building, Room 202, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday, Jan. 16-18, and 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 19.

Classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 16.

To speed up the registration process, new students should submit an application for admission prior to registration. Applications are available in the OC catalog and from the OC Admissions Office and Web site.

Students may arrange to pay tuition in three installments with one-half due on the day of registration or with a short-term loan which requires a 10 percent down payment. A $15 fee is charged for both payment methods.

Students who have completed 15 semester hours at OC may apply for federal loans. Scholarships and state and federal grants also are available. Students are encouraged to apply early for these programs. Funds for some programs do not become available until later in the semester.

Proof of Texas residency for 12 consecutive months prior to enrollment is required at registration to qualify for Texas resident tuition rates.

All transfer students must furnish an official transcript and TASP scores.

For more information, call the Odessa College Admissions Office at 335-6432 or visit the OC Web site at www.odessa.edu.
