Study Club plans meeting
The Modern Study Club will begin the New Year with an Education Department
Program with Juracy Ray, Department Chairman in charge. President Catherine
Travland will preside during the meeting.
Slated on January 10, at 3:30 p.m., the gathering will be held in the
home of Ron and Bobbi Lang, 1301 Iowa. Nan Cate and Etta Sullivan will assist
Mrs. Lang with hostesses duties.
The thought-quote for the meeting is, "If you have knowledge let others
light their candles at it."
Sylvia Dannelly will be the presenter of _ "How Difficult Can It Be" _
Special Children.
Roll call will be answered by giving the name of a child's disability
in learning.
Projects in focus for this bi-monthly meeting is to participate in Special
Olympics and the contribute to the University Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer
Research Center.
Natividad has fourth birthday
Cheyenne C. Natividad celebrated her fourth birthday this past December
with a party held in her honor.
The theme of the party was "Rugrats," and was attended by many friends
and family.
Her favorite gifts were Franklin and Power Puff Girls.
She is the daughter of Lori C. Natividad of Pecos and Cheyenne Natividad
of Randolph AFB in San Antonio.
Maternal grandparents are Jesus and Anna Candia of Pecos.
Paternal grandparents are Augustin and Laura Natividad, also of Pecos.
