Spring registration set

The University of Texas of the Permian Basin will conduct Spring 2001 registration on site Jan. 10 and Jan. 11 in the gymnasium. Registration hours Jan. 10 are from 3-7 p.m. and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-7 p.m. on Jan. 11.

Classes will begin Jan. 16. Students eligible for registration are those who attended U.T. Permian Basin during the Spring 2000. Summer 2000 or Fall 2000 semesters and new students who have received official acceptance letters. Returning students who have been absent for more than one year must be cleared by the Office of Admissions before registering. Late registration will be conducted Jan. 16-19 in the registrar's office.

Hardwick has sixth birthday

Michael Duane Hardwick celebrated his 6th birthday on Saturday, Dec. 9.

Family and friends were on hand to help celebrate the special occasion.

The theme for the event was G.I. Joe and he had a G.I. Joe Birthday Cake and Pinata.

His favorite gift was a G.I. Joe Jeep given to him by his parents.

Michael is the son of Kyle and Myra Taylor and Jerry Hardwick.

His grandmother is Christina Bitolas of Pecos.

Ontiveros celebrates 10th birthday

Joseph Daniel Ontiveros celebrated his 10th birthday, on Dec. 10, with a party held in his honor.

The theme for the party was, "Dragon Ball Z."

He had a Dragon Ball Z Cake and Pinata.

The party was held at his house and there to celebrate were 10 of his friends, parents and relatives.

His favorite gifts were Pokemon gold and silver given to him by his parents, Nancy and Oscar Ontiveros.

His grandmothers' are Rosa Ontiveros and Christina Bitolas.
