Enchilada Plate Sale set
An Enchilada Plate Sale will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Friday,
Oct. 27, at the Santa Rosa Hall.
Red or green enchiladas will be served with beans, rice and salad for
$3.50.
Deliveries will be made on four plates or more.
For orders call 445-2302 on Friday.
UTPB announces summer graduates
The University of Texas of the Permian Basin has announced the Summer 2000
graduates.
Students graduating from Pecos include Delma Gonzales, BA in Spanish;
from Kermit, Debra Nickens, BA in English; from Monahans, Robert C. Walker,
BA in English and Gordon C. Williams, BS in biology.
Students from surrounding areas earning Latin honors were Tina Mosley
of Andrews, summa cum laude, BA in Spanish; Tammye Chaney, magna cum laude
with a BBA in management, Carol Policky, summa cum laude with a BBA in
accountancy and information systems, both of Big Spring, Marle Reynolds
with a BA in history, cum laude of Kermit, Kellie Miller of Loraine, cum
laude with a BA in history and Robert W. Walker of Monahans, was summa
cum laude with a BA in psychology.
Smith, Weatherford wed in New Mexico
Claude and Elaine Moody announce the marriage of their daughter, Brenda
Moody Smith to Neal Wade Weatherford, son of the late Arlie Delbert and
Betty Lou Weatherford of Paragould, Ark.
The wedding took place in the home of Danny and Melissa Haynes in Capitan,
N.M.
Attending from Pecos were her parents and brother, Bill.
They are making their home in El Paso.
The bride is the granddaughter of Evelyn Carson and Cora Moody.
