Back To School Party planned
A 4-H Back-To-School Mardi Gras Party will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m.,
Saturday, Sept. 9 at Maxey Park.
Come join the fun and bring a friend.
Ornelas celebrates first birthday
Isaiah Tyler Ornelas celebrated his first birthday along with his mother,
Yvette Barreno, with a party held in their honor at Maxey Park on Sunday.
Both mother and son were born on Aug. 28.
Theme for the event was Looney Tunes.
Guests were served brisket with all the trimmings.
Little Isaiah's favorite gifts were a little car given to him by his
godparents Socorro and Manuel Rubio and a pair of golf clubs given to him
by his mother.
His parents are Yvette Barreno and Justin Ornelas.
Isaiah was joined by many family and friends and was especially happy
to be joined by his father, Justin, who is home on leave from the United
States Navy.
Maternal grandparents are Ricky and Angie Barreno of Pecos.
Paternal grandmother is Yogi Ornelas of Pecos.
