Contreras, Martinez tell of May wedding plans
Mr. and Mrs. Francisco M. Martinez announce the engagement of their son
Mathew Ray Martinez to Christine Dawn Contreras, daughter of Lilly Contreras
of Wichita, Kansas.
They will be married at 2 p.m., on May 20, at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Austin, (home of Longhorns),
with a Masters Degree in Biology.
Both are employees with Motorola.
The couple will make their home in Austin following the ceremony.
Lujan completes photography course
Nancy Lujan has completed a week long concentrated workshop conducted by
the Texas School of Professional Photography at Sam Houston State University.
Completion of this workshop earns two achievement merits toward the
Master of Photography Degree awarded by the Professional Photographers
of America, the 117 year old international organization which is the oldest
and largest association of professional photographs in the world.
This is the 25th annual Texas School of Professional Photography,
and the 24th school co-sponsored by Sam Houston State University.
Dr. Emette Jackson, SHSU photography program coordinator, reported that
over 540 professional photographers from 24 states took part in this year's
program.
