GED Testing dates set
GED Tests dates have been set for Monday, May 8 and Tuesday, May 9, at
the Pecos High School.
Registration deadline is May 1 and 2, at the Pecos High School, at the
counselors office from 1-5:30 p.m.
Examinees must present a Texas driver's license or Texas Department
of Public Safety ID card.
GED Examiners are PHS Counselors Pat Cobos and Eva Arriola.
Salgado selected as employee of month
Jeorge Salgado has been selected as the Employee of the Month for March
at the Reeves County Detention Center.
Salgado began his career as a Correctional Officer on Oct. 10, 1996.
Since then he has been promoted to the position of a Mail Clerk, and
again promoted to the position of Business Technician in September of 1999.
Other than performing his daily duties, Salgado provides the very best
in leadership which is important to the continued success of RCDC.
"His outstanding contributions serve as an example to peers and the
entire institution," said RCDC Warden Rudy Franco.
Salgado is married to Rosalinda and is the proud father of three children.
This award honors Jeorge as an outstanding employee among many nominees,
according to Franco.
"We wish him continued success in his career at the Reeves County Detention
Center," said Franco.
