at Lackland, AFB in San Antonio, on Feb. 11.
He is the son of Joe and Sharon Coody and the grandson of John and Clara
Griffis of Pecos.

his training.
Museum is setting for wedding reception
The West of the Pecos Museum was a lovely setting for a wedding reception
honoring Juracy and L.M. Ray, who were married, Jan. 17, in the Bahamas.
Grady and Debe Booker, Mrs. Ray's daughter and son-in-law from Denton,
hosted the event.
Beautiful arrangements of flowers in shades of red, purples, pinks,
yellows and green, carried off the theme for the party. The bride's cake
was also decorated with the same colors as the flowers and was topped with
an orchid, silk organza ribbon and wedding bells.
L.M. is a license plate collector and drives a 1957 Chevy. His chocolate
cake was in the shape of a license plate with a 1957 Chevy written on it.
Friends assisting with serving duties were Grace Smith, Jimmie Johnson,
Alice Wein, Bea Owens, Martha Card, Sue Wilkinson and Minda Anderson.
Guests were greeted by Catherine Travland while Judy Love presided at
the guest register where more than 100 guests from Pecos, Pearsall, Pampa,
El Paso, Dallas, Fort Worth, Haskell, San Angelo, Odessa, Arlington, Austin,
Levelland, Garland, Andrews, Denton and Las Cruces, N.M.
