He was born Sept. 8, 1942, in Ojinaga, Chih., Mex., was an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, a retired painter, a lifelong Pecos resident and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Ismael Flores of Odessa; two brothers, Jose Flores of Ft. Worth, Santiago Flores of Austin; two sisters, Josefa Herrera and Adela Rivera of Pecos. He was born Oct. 26, 1920, in Ballinger, was a Navy veteran who served in World War II, retired meter man for Trans Pecos Gas Co. and a lifelong Balmorhea resident. Survivors include his wife, Patty Towler of Balmorhea. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Balmorhea Library or the Balmorhea Methodist Church. She was born Feb. 5, 1936, in Marfa, was a housewife, a lifetime Pecos resident and a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her father, Salome Munoz Sr., her brother, Salmoe Munoz Jr. and one granddaughter, Petra Nunez. Survivors include her husband, Jose O. Survivors include eight children, Belinda Rodriguez, Melba Botello, Janie Leyva, Johnny Botello, Michel Botello, Danny Botello, Jody Botello, Jr. and Lorie Patino, all of Odessa; 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also many nieces and nephews from Pecos and the surrounding area, as well as California, Colorado, Florida and Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Matilde Botello; brothers, Juan, Margarito, Roman, Roberto, and Lupe Botello and Cipriano Garcia; sisters, Eufemia Torres, Isabel Salazar and Antonia Herrera and his precious granddaughter, Iris Botello.
