I know I did not graduate from Pecos but I went to school there from Kindergarten until my Sophomore year. I would really like to see several classmates. I have recently had contact with a few friends and have really enjoyed hearing from them. I am however still trying to contact Anna Smallwood, Tammy Dieshler, and a few others. If anyones knows how to reach them I would greatly appreciate the help. Heather Huelster Selinkoff class of 1997

I was just remembering this year and I thought I would let our Pecos friends know of the passing of my sister Mierya Olmos in May of this year in Dallas. She was the daughter of Rev Antonio Olmos the Pastor of the Methodist Church on Walnut Street. Mierya would have been in the Class of 1976. Although we left Pecos we hold fond memories of our friends. Miriam Olmos Ortiz Class of 1966 and former secretary at former East Pecos Jr High.

I am looking for information on Ike W. Foster and relatives that lived in Pecos in the 1930's and perhaps late 1920's. Ike and wife Rebecca Syrilda York Foster was in Smith County, TX at the 1900 census; Ector County, TX at the 1910 & 1920 Census; and in Pecos, TX at the 1930 Census. One of his sons was Jerry M. Foster who was a butcher; another son was Charley D. Foster. There was a daughter, Lula who had married a Roddy. Mr. Roddy had apparently been a sheriff or deputy sheriff. Lula was a widow in 1930 living with the Jerry Foster family in Pecos in 1930. My interest is that Ike's eldest daughter was Susan Foster, who married MDL Meadows in Smith County, TX and remained in Smith County. The Smith County family lost track of the Fosters that moved to Pecos. I would like to find out if there is still members of that family in the Pecos area and where Ike and his wife were buried. I would really appreciate any information. Thank you, Linda

Hi, my name is Marissa Gonzalez (formerly Tussey) and I was a close friend to Barry Meacham while he attended school in Grapevine, Texas.

He moved to Pecos and attended High School until his death in a plane crash in 1978.

I was hoping I could connect with someone who might have been blessed to know him just so I could learn more about his days in Pecos. I have kept him in my thoughts and heart and will always love him.

Thank you for your time and appreciate any feedback.

I can be reached at mktg29@yahoo.com.

It is with a sad heart that I email the news of the passing of one of our classmates from the class of 1966. Cheryl Billeiter was a cheerleader and so much more. She always had a smile for everyone and was one of the really sweet girls in our class. She has passed way too young! Go in peace, Cheryl, and know that you will never be forgotten.
