| Daily Newspaper and Travel Guide for Pecos Country of West Texas Lifestyle Tuesday, July 7, 1998 Workman makes President's list Lindley Renee Workman, of Pecos, has been named to the President's List for the 1998 Spring semester at the University of North Texas in Denton. Only students who have earned a grade point average of 4.0 on a course load of 12 or more hours during the semester were accorded this distinction. Her name will be submitted to the National Dean's List, a publication which recognizes outstanding academic achievements of students throughout the United States. Workman is a communications major at the university. She is the daughter of Jerry and Emma Workman of Pecos. UTPB sponsors service seminar A free seminar on customer service will be offered from 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, at the UTPB Center for Economic and Engery Diversification (CEED). CEED is located at the southeast intersection of Highway 191 and FM 1788 midway between Midland and Odessa. Topics to be covered in the seminar include the elements of customer service that are important for businesses, causes for customer dissatisfaction, how to handle angry customer, and how to improve customer service.
