`Holly-Daze' recital planned

The Harding-Webster Dance Studio will present their sixth
annual Christmas Dance Recital at the Pecos High School
auditorium at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. The general public
is invited to the "Holly-Daze" recital and admission is free.

Sequence I will present "Fun on Santa Claus Mountain!" and
Sequence II will be "Tap and All That Jazz."

Sharon Matney Click is owner-director of the dance studio
and Shannon Click Huber is the 1997 dance instructor. Dance
classes are held at the Pecos Learning Center every Tuesday
afternoon.

The 1997 Christmas dancers will be Kebbah Darpolar, Lauren
Elliott, Haley Kington, Kelly Lease, Brittney Alligood,
Tiffany hunter, Courtney Painter, Brittney Garcia, Amber
Rodriguez, Savannah Ewing, K'Dee Gulihur, Candice
Moore,Cristie Gulihur, Stephanie Passmore, Terri Tarin,
Jennifer Guerra, AriAnna Alligood, Conner Armstrong,
Adrienne Bagley, Mitzi Bracey, Talia Castillo, Melody
Dominguez, Kaitlyn Kesey, Allison Mendoza, Janette Perea,
Jesseca Perea, Alyson Reynolds, Tatum Windham and Tazia
Winkles.

Rodriguez ends advanced training

PV2 Sammy Rodriguez son of Allan and Norma Wentworth has
graduated from advanced transportation of hazardous
materials, fuel and cargo school while stationed at Fort
Leonard Wood, Mo.

PV2 Rodriguez has undergone extreme training since
graduating from Pecos High School in May 1997.

PV2 Rodriguez graduated from eight weeks basic training at
Fort Jackson, S.C.

He learned basic fundamentals of combat, drill and ceremony
and qualified sharpshooter on the M16 rifle and expert in
grenades.

PV2 Rodriguez completed advance training as a Petroleum
Supply Specialist at Fort Lee Virginia.

He will be stationed at Fort Hood, Tx., where he will apply
his training in garrison and field environments.
